Lake Dai is Founder and Managing Partner of Sancus Ventures, an early-stage fund focused on AI infrastructure and applications, backing companies from inception to early inflection. A longtime AI operator, founder, investor, and educator, she was an early Alibaba product leader and later led Yahoo!’s search business in Asia. Since 2016, Lake has taught Applied AI and AI Governance as an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. She created the B.O.A.R.D. AI Governance Framework and advises global institutions and Fortune 500 companies on responsible AI strategy and innovation. She was recognized by BoardProspects as Top AI Talent in the Boardroom.
