Anca Dragan is Senior Director of AI Safety and Alignment at Google DeepMind, where she leads safety and alignment for Gemini, deployed to billions of users. On leave from UC Berkeley, where she is a professor of electrical engineering and computer science, she has produced foundational research on how AI systems can infer human intentions and act in ways people can trust.
